Electrical services in commercial settings have their own unique set of challenges. Budgets, deadlines, and coordinating schedules with other contractors can make or break a commercial construction project. At Berube Electric, we understand these challenges, having spent years working in both industrial and commercial electrical services.
There are advantages for a commercial developer, property management firm, or general contractors to hire a small company for their electrical projects. We can provide accurate estimates (avoiding change orders), a high level of quality control, direct communication and strong relationships, as the company owner is on every job.
New Construction
Commercial construction projects have a lot of moving parts and progress very quickly. We bring a diverse background of working with residential, commercial, and industrial systems, are able to read plan sets and provide estimates from them; and, as a young company, we are familiar with the latest Wi-Fi and smart technology.
Communication, preparation, and flexibility is job one on a commercial new construction project. Pulling all necessary permits, staying two steps ahead of the schedule, and having supplies and the labor available when it’s needed keeps our part of the construction project moving smoothly. We don’t want to be “that guy” who holds up the project!
Commercial Space Fit-Ups
Remodeling commercial spaces to fit the needs of an incoming tenant are enjoyable projects for us. We love the challenge of reconfiguring an existing electrical system to the new plan for the space. Oftentimes, we will work directly off plan sets; other times an investor knows what they want to use the space for but will rely on us to make suggestions on how to make that happen practically and aesthetically.
Sometimes commercial fit-ups happen in a space that is open for business. We are sensitive to that – keeping our workmanship tidy and unobtrusive; we will also provide after-hours work scheduling when needed.
Commercial Electrical Maintenance
Property managers every now and then find themselves in the position of needing an electrician to do a small job on a commercial property. Commercial electrical maintenance can be anything from adding safety lighting, EBUs and exit signs, to meet fire code, adding a circuit to an existing panel, or upgrading lighting systems to cost-effective LEDs. Whatever the project, we are happy to be on your shortlist of commercial electricians to call!
